Taunt

Taunt

A taunt is performed by pressing the Start button. Your character will perform some kind of action that will aggravate your opponent.

Alpha Counter

Alpha Counter

When you block an attack, press towards and press two buttons of the same type. Depending on your character you will perform some kind of counter-attack. However you need at least 1 super level to perform this move, once the move is done, 1 super level will be deducted from your super bar. Alpha Counter is a very important move in Street Fighter Zero 2. If your opponent is attacking you with a devastating combo, you can alpha counter out to end your opponent combo.

Recover Roll

Recover Roll

When you are about to land from a fall, press two punch buttons and your character will perform a recovery roll before getting up. It is useful in situation when your opponent is trying to attack you while you are getting up.

Air Block

Air Block

When you are in the air press back to block any attacks in the air. However you will not be able to block normal attacks or grabs.

Air Recovery

Air Recovery

Press two punch buttons when your character is tumbling in the air after receiving an attack. Once this is done, your character will recover in mid-air before your opponent can continue with his combo.

Throw

Throw

Move towards your opponent and press Medium Punch or Hard Punch to grab and throw your opponent. Some characters can also throw in the air.
